Hmmm it seems Enermax finally got their poop in a group. Im glad to see that, although they have permanently lost my business after the last one i had. Great review Godfoot, with a plethra of info.

I wouldn't buy one at the retail price I don't think unless I was a serious overclocker ala Necro or had really expensive gear in my rig that I wanted to protect, but that is mainly due to it being over $200. It is very stable on voltages and I am sure that using a native 24 pin ATX mobo would alleviate the video problems I experienced
Thanks guys..

what i find strange about the review, your numbers say single rail, neweggs number say three 12v rails, and this guy says this

In fact, the four differnt rails are only colored coded and wired to be consistent with three +12V rails. The only physical difference in the supposedly distinct +12V rails is that there are jumper wires that connect the supposedly different rails to the single internal supply. Perhaps these jumpers are are included to allow a lawyer to claim that the jumpers differentiate the rails). It is all the more odious that the supposedly different +12V rails are designated with different current ratings. To designate this unit as being a multiple +12V rail supply is not just disengenous but smacks of false advertising.

all and all, if you have 62A reality 12v line power, this PSU is definately worth it for the price

Default Re: Review: Enermax MaximumPlus 660W PSU

Got to looking at the PSU last night again due to another thread and mine claims 4 seperate 12v rails as well but only 60 amps rather than 62.
Only thing keeping it from being even better is only 2 SATA power connectors and the length, since it is advertised as a server PSU.
I should try it out on my AM2 rig but that will have to wait until I get a more roomy case (width and depth wise) which should be sometime this summer. I will have to either move one of my HDDs to another case or use a molex to SATA adapter for my DVD drive though.
It was rock solid on my Socket A rig, I am curious to revisit it on a more taxing platform.
